Volleyball to Return at Wesleyan

Wesleyan College has announced that Women's Volleyball will return as an official NCAA sanctioned sport in the Fall of 2020. Athletics Director Penny Siqueiros and President Vivia Fowler decided to bring the sport back to campus after a very successful club season this year. Head Coach Malae Fiaseu, a Wesleyan graduate and former player, will lead the transition.

Coach Fiaseu could not be more happier for the program. When making the announcement, Coach Fiaseu said, "Thank you to everyone who has supported us in our efforts. Special thanks to President Vivia Fowler and Athletic Director Penny Siqueiros for their support and entrusting me to lead this program in the right direction. We will proceed as a competitive club team for this upcoming school year while we prepare a smooth transition back into  the USA South Conference. With our returners plus the recruits we have coming in, I am confident in the bright future of this program."

Currently, along with the returning club players, the Wolves have three committed players in this year's recruiting class and they continue to add recruits interested in joining the Wolfpack on a weekly basis. Interested athletes can reach Coach Fiaseu by email at msfiaseu@wesleyancollege.edu
