Alumni Spotlight: Quenshawn Brandon

Alumni Spotlight: Quenshawn Brandon

This week's Alumni Spotlight is focused on soccer sensation, Quenshawn Brandon (Q). Q played soccer for Wesleyan College for all of her four years while obtaining a degree in educational studies. Not only did Q shine on the soccer pitch, she also played basketball for two years and volleyball for two years. When asked about her favorite memories of being a Wolf, Q said, "My favorite memory was going on road trips with my soccer team. Almost every weekend there was an away game, so it was very hard not to interact and grow with my team. We had karaoke days before some games which were always fun. Another highlight was being able to win our last senior home game. It was a big accomplishment for me to leave Wesleyan better than I found it. I can officially say we set some records on the field during my entire four years of playing at Wesleyan. We have made it to conference twice in my four years of playing, and each year we continued to strive for better. I had an amazing four years at Wesleyan while meeting some great team players, and I wouldn't have it any other way." Q is still looked up to by many current athletes and can often be seen at campus events and other athlete's social media posts even after graduation. There is no doubt Q has left a tremendous impression on campus.

Currently, Q is preparing to move to Seoul, South Korea where she will begin a career in teaching at Chungdahm Learning, Inc. There, she will be an English instructor to the elementary students. Q has always immersed herself in the internation culture experiences provided at Wesleyan College. "I'm excited for this journey I am soon to embark upon and I look forward to being a phenomenal teacher as exemplified by Wesleyan's education and psychology department," Q said when asked about her upcoming move.

The Wolf nation is very proud of Q and all of her accomplishments and cannot wait to see her blossom into an incredible teacher to the youth of Korea.
