Newcomers Debut in Wesleyan's Western IHSA Opener

Wesleyan's western IHSA equestrian team opened its season on Saturday, Dec. 2, at the University of Florida. This year, the western team has joined the Florida region and is excited to face new teams in competition as well as ride in a number of new venues. This year's team is relying heavily on newcomers, each of which opened the season with beautiful rides.
 
Notables:
-Sophomore Catherenne Hogeland took first place in the Intermediate Horsemanship division during her western debut.
-Freshman Charlotte Reagor made her collegiate showing debut in the Walk/Jog Division with a fifth place finish.
-Maria Randall finished the day with fifth and sixth place finishes in the Walk/Jog division.
