Equestrian Brings Home Several Ribbons In First Competition of 2018
Eustis, FL. - Equestian opened up competition season for this spring in Florida and competed at Stetson University where returners earned quite a few ribbons for second, third and fourth place. 
 
Notables:
 
  • Second year riders, Giannetti, Randall and Hogeland all bring home ribbons after weekend show
  • Sophomore,Meagan Giannetti, finishes 2nd in the Intermediate division on Saturday morning upon returning to Western Collegiate competition
  • Junior, Maria Randall (2nd year), recorded a personal best finishing in 3rd place in the Walk/Jog division Saturday morning
  • Freshman, Charlotte Reagor, also recorded a personal best finishing in 4th place with a follow up of placing 5th on Sunday
  • Sophomore, Catherenne Hogeland (2nd year) earns with two 3rd place finish in the Intermediate division over the two day show

"The team worked really hard at home to prepare for this show series that came up very quickly after the winter break and that hard work definitely paid off," remarks Head Coach Jessica Denniston. "We have a couple of places for improvements and extra polish and I am looking forward to the next few weekends of showing for the team to get back in the arena."
