Hunt Seat Team Finishes Season

Hunt Seat Team Finishes Season

College of Charleston

The Wesleyan hunt seat team wrapped up the regular IHSA show season with beautiful rides at the College of Charleston. The classes were quite large with stiff competition but newcomer Catherine Nelson brought home a fifth place finish in the Walk/Trot division as the highlight of the day.
"This show is always a tough one because the competition is really the best of the best but it allows our riders to get in the arena and compete on some great horses with nice riders. While our rides were not rewarded on Saturday all of our riders showed wonderful composure under pressure and put forward really nice rides. The amount of improvement these riders have made this year has really shown and will continue to pay off as we look towards our home show in April." -Coach Jessica Denniston

"Having Ashlee finish fourth in the region was a great way to close out our IHSA season this year!"-Coach Jessica Denniston
