BLYTHEWOOD, SC – Wesleyan Equestrian traveled to Three Fox Farm in Blythewood, SC for IHSA Show hosted by University of South Carolina. Wesleyan horses Isaac and Moe traveled with the team to add to the pool of horses for the show.
Great weekend for our team riders even if results don't show it. Audrey placed over fences on both days at her first IHSA Show to compete over fences and her second season of IHSA Hunter Seat. Caty had great rides on Saturday with lots of improvement and was solid and confident on Sunday. Alison is competing at a higher level requiring her to canter in a large group, which she did on both days. All three riders improved over the weekend. Isaac and Moe were rock solid for their riders and reflected well on Wesleyan Equestrian program earning ribbons for their riders both days. Competing and being responsible for horses at the show is tough. We had 3 riders in 5 classes both days, with Isaac and Moe each being in 5 classes. I could not have asked any more from our riders or horses.

Caty Hogeland drew Julius (Lander) for Limit Hunter Seat Equitation over fences - did not place.
Alison Strout drew Merle (USC Aiken) for Pre-Novice Hunter Seat Equitation – did not place.
