Macon, GA- The Wesleyan Wolves Equestrian team traveled to University of Florida to participate in another IDA Dressage Show returning to Macon with a plethora of ribbons. Highlighting the strong performance were Sophomores Olivia Troyer and Nieve Leyne. Troyer was phenomenal on Sunday taking 1st in her intro Level Dressage Test and finishing as High Point Rider for the day. Leyne had a strong performance on Saturday bringing back a blue ribbon in the Dressage Seat Equitation Class in the 1st Level division. The Wolves Equestrian athletes also performed well as the two horses, Big Red and Kona,  brought from Wesleyan were voted Best Draw by all teams present. Or, to be the best horses to draw out of the random pool of horses. This is a testament of the good care and training that the horses receive at Wesleyan Equestrian.

Saturday

Wesleyan IDA rider, Sydney Echols won her Dressage Seat Equitation Class in the Intro division, while Olivia Troyer placed 2nd in her Dressage Seat Equitation class in the Intro division. Nieve Leyne won her Dressage Seat Equitation Class in the 1st Level division. Team Captain Whitney McKinley, placed 2nd in both her Upper Training Level Test and her Upper Training Level Dressage Seat Equitation divisions. 

Sunday

Team Captain Alma Sheputa, placed 2nd in her Lower Training Level Dressage Seat Equitation division. Sydney Echols placed 2nd in her Intro Level Dressage Test. McKinley continued her excellent weekend placing 2nd in her Upper Training Level Dressage Seat Equitation class. Olivia Troyer placed 1st in her Intro Level Dressage Test and won High Point rider of the entire show on Sunday.
