WESLEYAN HANGS TOUGH IN LOSSES AT LAGRANGE

LAGRANGE, Georgia - Wesleyan kept pace with LaGrange in the hits category, but ultimately struggled to manufacture runs in Wednesday's road doubleheader. Marilynn Nesmith led the way with two hits for the Wolves in game one. As a whole the team produced seven hits including a solo homreun from Yasnei Llavore, but the team would score only two runs in the 4-2 defeat. Wesleyan surrendered just three earned runs, but they were plagued by 4 fielding errors.

In the second game MacKenzie Hooker went 3 for 3, and Brianna Collender knocked in the only two runs the Wolves would score in the 7-2 loss. Wesleyan was unable to recover from an early 5-0 deficit.
