WOLVES PICK UP WIN IN LAST CONFERENCE GAME

DECATUR, Georgia -  Wesleyan gave up an early 2-0 lead in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader at Agnes Scott. Brianna Collender,  Marilynn Nesmith, and Yasnei Llavore would lead the way for the Wolves all delivering two hits a piece, but Agnes Scott would go on to take game one by a score of 6-3.

In game two the Wolves would jump out to another early lead with Llavore ond Collender combining to drive in three runs through three innings. They would both end the game with two RBI's and two hits. Kiara Binns was the top contributor at the plate with three hits and three runs scored. MacKenzie Hooker would notch her fifth win of the season allowing just two earned runs while pitching the full 7 innings. She also helped her own cause at the plate going 2 for 3 and scoring a run. Nesmith drove in two runs of her own down the stretch and Wesleyan brought home the 8-2 victory.

Wesleyan will next host Belhaven in a doubleheader on Monday in Macon. Game times are at 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM
