The Wesleyan Wolves' softball program released their 2020 schedule today. As Head Coach Penny Siqueiros enters her second season at the healm, the Wolves have loaded with new talent during the recruiting season and have scheduled a very challenging schedule for the season. New to the normal Wesleyan schedule this year is the William Peace Triangle Classic. The Wolves will play in this tournament for the first time and will face challenging opponents. The Wolves are scheduled to play in four games during the Classic. Out of the four opponents there, three made it to the NCAA Division III Super Regionals last year and the other made it into the USA South Conference playoffs last year. 

The Wolves are bringing in 13 newcomers either as Freshmen or transfers which is adding a great deal of depth to the lineup this season.  Penny Siqueiros states, "We are building off all the successes of Head Coach Dickey Hightower and previous alum. I have always enjoyed building programs, and it'll be super fun to see where our program goes this year. With our returning talent, Junior College transfers, new freshmen, and a new pitching coach, we seem to have filled all aspects of a foundation for creating a competitive team. We have speed, power, defense, and pitching. Now we have to understand what it means to work at a high level, every day, all day, every time we hit the field. I can't wait to see how we grow."
