Wolves Take Two Against Sewanee!

The Wesleyan Wolves softball program improved to a record of 3-1 today by taking both games of a Sunday afternoon doubleheader against Sewanee. In game one, the main headline was junior pitcher, Kimmy Dick. She started ahead in the count on 17 total batters on the day, struck out 7, and only gave up one hit. The Wolves' offense was very good with nine hits on the game but could only muster up the one run which was enough for a win with a final of 1-0. Jendayi Wright lead the offense going 3-3 in game one with Alexis Wheeler getting the game's only RBI.

In game two, the Wolves came out swinging and with a purpose taking the lead to 5-0 after the first two innings. The team ended game two with 14 hits with several in the lineup with two each. Jendayi Wright lead in the game's RBI category for the Wolves with 3 followed by Savannah Pollock with 2.

The Wolves will be back in action at home on Sunday, March 1, when they take on Pfeiffer University at 12PM and 2PM.
