Wolves Softball Drop Doubleheader at Home

The Wolves' softball team welcomed the Knights of Middlge Georgia State last night in a late week doubleheader. Kimmy Dick started game one on the mound for the Wolves throwing all seven innings. She would finish the game with ten strikeouts; three walks; and four runs allowed. The offense struggled to get into a groove as Savannah Pollock provided the only RBI of the game for the Wolves. The Knights took the win 4-1. 

In game two, Freshman Bailey Caldwell started in the circle. Bailey would pitch all seven innings giving up eight runs on eight hits with two strikeouts. The Wolves' defense would have three errors on the game. Offensively, the Wolves ended the game with seven hits, and two runs. The Knights came out hitting the entire game with several hard hits and key baserunning to win the second game 8-2. 

The Wolves are back in action Sunday as they travel to Fort Valley to take on Fort Valley State University. No fans are allowed at Fort Valley State. Links to live stats or video will be provided as they become available.
