Wolves Secure 88-44 Win over Judson

MACON, GA - With solid defense and outstanding teamwork offensively, Wesleyan tamed Judson College in an impeccable 88-44 victory.

Coming out strong at tip-off and wrapping up the first quarter with 22 points, the competitive streak only rose from there as Wesleyan continued to rise in last night's game. Judson trailing behind the whole duration of the game could not quite find enough will to push past the Wolves.

 

Notables:

  • Leading scorer sophomore #20 TK Blount led the pack with 28 points, 10 rebounds and five assist. Blount is joined with Quenshawn Brandon and Alexis Russell as they all achieve double-double stats
  • Sophomore #21 Quenshawn Brandon with 11 points, 10 rebounds and five asisst; Junior Forward #42 Alexis Russell with 12 points, 11 rebounds and four assist
  • Right behind Blount, junior guard Taylor Thigpen added on 18 points, three rebounds and seven assists. Other scorers along with Thigpen were Senior Forward #30 Taylor Hauser with eight points, three rebounds and five assists
  • Wesleyan recorded a team total of 49 rebounds, 31 assists and 19 steals
  • Impressive mention for Judson was #4 Madison Casale who led her team with 17 points, five rebounds and six asissts
  • Judson attempted 66 shots making 16 totaling out 24% of field goals
