Maxwell Posts Third Straight Double Digit Scoring Game In Road Loss

Diedre Maxwell scored 11 points in Wednesday's road loss to Piedmont which drops Wesleyan's conference record to 0-2. The Wolves continued to struggle offensively as a team, however, shooting only 20.4 percent from field. Head Coach Kyle Herring added two players to the roster earlier this week in order to provide some much needed depth. He had this to say after the game.

"We started the game out very well. We competed with Piedmont. We did what we wanted to do early on. As the game wore on, we got tired, had some players who hadnt been with us before, and things got out of hand. The 4th quarter, I saw some things I liked. We started moving the ball against their zone and getting open shots. The next step is, making those open shots."

The Wolves road slate continues on Saturday, 12/8/18, as the team travels to the Mississippi University for Women. The game tips off at 2:00 PM.
