The beleaguered Wesleyan basketball team closed out their road stretch on Sunday when they traveled to Maryville College. Once again Coach Kyle Herring had no subs at his disposal.

He had this to say after the game, "I appreciate the effort given by the girls this weekend. It is hard going out there to play knowing we have zero girls on our team that are here to play basketball. But this group will play hard. No matter the situation. We even had the president from Maryville stop in and tell the girls they made a lot of fans from Maryville on Sunday because of how hard they played despite the score."

The team will return home on Wednesday as the host Huntingdon College at Porter Gymnasium. The game tips at 7:00 PM.
