Wesleyan stumbles in final home contest

Kiara Binns shot 67 percent from three, but a win wasn't in the cards for the Wolves against a LaGrange program that played 16 players. LaGrange shot 50 percent as a team from the three point line and 55 percent from the field. It was a tough way to end the home schedule, but Kyle Herring is hopeful for the future of the program.

He had this to day after that game, "I was happy to see Kiara get on a little bit of a roll in the second half. She was playing more aggressive and looking for her shot more. I'm proud of the way the young ladies compete no matter the score. It wasn't how anyone wants the home season to end. I'm just proud of the effort put forth by these young ladies."

Wesleyan travels to Agnes Scott on Saturday for the last game of the 2018-2019 season. Game time is 2:00 PM.
