Titans Arena was full of excitement and energy tonight as the Wolves took on the Panthers of LaGrange College in a USA South Conference game. The Wolves were looking for their second consecutive win while the Panthers were looking to extend their two game winning streak. 

Losing by eight at the half, the Wolves had the Panthers as well as many naysayers on their heels. Coach Herring and the Wolves would come out in the second half outscoring the Panthers by four points in the third quarter to come within four points of taking the lead. The Panthers ultimately would take a larger lead and the win during the final quarter by outscoring the Wolves 23-15 after a few turnovers by the Wolves that proved to be costly. 

The offense was lead by Freshman Natera Perkins with 19 points on the evening followed behind by Freshman BreAsia Davis with 13. Freshman Ashanty Hightower lead the offense with assists with 4 on the evening. The defense played very well this evening as well. Freshman Ta'Liyah Slocumb lead with 5 defensive rebounds on the night. 

The Wolves' fans brought great energy to the arena tonight including the new "Spirit Squad", which is a student lead cheer group for home games this year. The Wolves are back in action at home this Saturday when they take on conference opponent Covenant College at 1PM at Titans Arena.
