The Wolves started their season with a win tonight at Agnes Scott winning 65-47. Sophomore Jamila Ra-Hashim led the Wolves with 17 points on the night. Tyshia Hughes helped on the boards with 10 defensive rebounds in the win. As a team, the Wolves shot 58% from the free throw line. Coach Herring is proud of his team for playing together and bringing this win home. "For a team coming out of quarantine for ten days, we looked like a team coming out of quarantine for ten days. I think it took us the first two quarters to get the dust off and begin to click. The third quarter was something special. It looked like everyone played together very well. For Tyshia to have ten rebounds as a guard, that is huge for us. This win was big for sure. Tomorrow we have the chance to win and improve to 2-0 for the first time in school history. Exciting times for sure for Wesleyan basketball", Coach Herring said of the win tonight. 

The Wolves travel back to Agnes Scott tomorrow for a 2:00PM match up.
