Wolves drop Matchup to Huntingdon

Macon, GA- The Huntingdon Hawks came to town yesterday afternoon for a CCS matchup with the Wolves, ultimately walking away with a 81-45 victory. The loss moves the Wolves record to 0-14 on the season with 6 games, all CCS games, left to play. Jamila Ra-Hashim led all scorers on the night once again with 19 points shooting 8-20 from the field and 2-8 from behind the arc. Janiya Simmons joined Ra-Hashim in double figures as she finished the game with 11 points making 5 of her 7 shots on the night. Gabby Barnwell finished with 7 points before heading to the locker room early with an ankle injury. Angel Lockett finished the night with 5 points, while Arielle Wallace and Ayanna Hoskins both contributed a basket coming off of the bench. 

 

The Wolves will be on the road this weekend as they travel to Berea college to take on the red hot Mountaineers riding the momentum of a 7 game win streak. Wesleyan will finish off the month of January with a home matchup against Piedmont on Tuesday the 31st. The home game on Tuesday will be available to watch online at our newly created Wolves Athletics Youtube channel linked below.
