Wolves Fall To Royals Of Queens College

Macon, GA- The Wolves basketball team traveled to Charlotte, NC to take on Queens College in a non conference matchup dropping the game 96-36 to the Royals. Mia Walker led the Wolves with 15 points playing 38 minutes off the bench, while Destiny Grider also finished in double figures with 10 points in 33 minutes. 

 

The Royals jumped out to a commanding 51-7 lead in the first half before the Wolves settled in. In the third quarter the Wolves were able to hang with the Royals scoring 16 points. Mia Walker scored 7 points shooting 2-4 from the field in the 3rd quarter including 1-2 from 3 and knocked down a pair of free throws. The Royals would not be denied outsourcing the Wolves 28-13 in the 4th quarter to take the 96-36 win. 

 

The Wolves have one more home non-conference game VS Toccoa Falls this Saturday December 2nd starting at 1PM  before they kick off CCS action next week.
