The Wesleyan Wolves soccer program dropped a home match this weekend to Brevard College by a score of 5-1 on Sunday.

Wesleyan's lone goal came off the foot of Quenshawn Brandon in the 73rd minute of play.

Head Coach Don Tees was adamant in how the Wolves played: "Credit to Brevard; they really had to work to score on us today. You can not say that two of their shots were top class. Kudos to Juan and his ladies. Saying that, I honestly thought we had the better chances and we're in it all match until the last 15 minutes. Our ladies are working with so much effort and passion this week and today's game was the best overall match for us thus far; I wish we could get them the results they deserve. We will look forward to building and growing to see how the season plays out. If we play like we have the last 3 matches and limit the small hiccups during play, we are right back in it and the season's turned around."

The Wolves return to Panoz Field Wednesday, October 3rd as they play Birmingham-Southern College. The match is locked-in for a 7:00pm ET kickoff.
