The Wesleyan Wolves brought home the win today with a home soccer scrimmage against Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College from Tifton, GA. The Wolves started strong scoring their first goal by Fetlework Blitch before the second minute of the first period. The Wolves would then follow up with two more goals before the tenth minute. The Wolves would ultimately come away with six goals with 10 shots on goal.

Coach Seth Semones was extremely proud of how his team performed tonight after a shocking loss to Brewton Parker just a week prior. Coach Semones applauds his seniors for stepping up in practices this week and taking on the leadership roles he expected coming into the preseason. "I am very proud of the leadership coming from the seniors. Seniors Katie Ann Fitts, Q Brandon, and Carlee Dykes were all named team captains before the game tonight. This was not just because of seniority but because of their leadership in presason.", Coach Semones said after the match.

The underclassmen took last week's loss as a learning opportunity and came into this week ready to work hard. About his underclassmen, Coach Semones said, "We are also very proud of our freshmen as they have scored many of our goals in the first two matches. Impact players like Thi Soe and Alyssa Key have added success to the attack. All while freshmen Amber McNeal and Sha Sha Edouard have solidified their time earned on the pitch".

The Wolves will wrap up their preseason play this Sunday at 1:00PM against Webber International University. The game will be a special game in which the Panoz Field will be dedicated in honor of the Nancy Panoz Family.
