Soccer Ranked 6th in Preseason Poll

The USA South Conference released the 2021 Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll today. Maryville College tops the poll receiving eight votes for that position. Wesleyan College placed sixth in the poll. The Wolves will begin the season on Monday, February 8th, against Middle Georgia State University. The soccer season will be somewhat condensed, however this season will provide some high quality competition with two non-conference matches against tough opponents and a tough conference schedule combined.

Coach Seth Semones is excited to finally get the season going after having the traditional season moved to spring. " I am so glad to see Wesleyan climbing the preseason poll year after year. Starting sixth is a honest starting spot, however I believe we have a roster this year to stun the conference. We have a long road ahead of us but finishing in the top four is an achievable goal. I am looking forward to seeing this group impress the conference this season," Coach Semones said of the poll.
