Macon, GA- The Wesleyan Wolves soccer team welcomed the Scotties of Agnes Scott to Panoz Field for Senior day dropping the match by a final of 2-1. The Scotties took an early lead scoring in the 8th minute of play and riding out the 1-0 lead into the break. The Wolves managed to even the score when Ani Springer was able to beat the keeper in the 56th minute of play making the game 1-1. The score wouldn't stay even long however, as Agnes Scott took a 2-1 lead with a goal in the 58th minute of play. The Wolves would get 4 more good shots off on goal, but were unable to overcome the 2-1 deficit dropping the match by that final. Wesleyan Soccer will be back in action Wednesday the 18th as they travel to Covenant College for a CCS match against the Scotts.
