Wolves Tennis Places Seven on ITA All Academic Team

Macon, GA - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association released its 2017 All Academic Teams on Tuesday, and Wesleyan College had seven athletes earn honors.

In order to be recognized as an ITA Scholar Athlete, the player must be a varsity tennis letter winner, have a grade point average of at least a 3.50 for the academic year, and have been enrolled in their institution for at least two semesters.

The 2017 Wesleyan tennis team posted an overall team grade point average of 3.55, which was the highest within the athletic department, and were led by the following student athletes who earned the ITA All Academic Team honors.

Wesleyan Head Tennis Coach Alex Kosicki remarked, ""I am so proud of and impressed by this group of athletes and the accomplishments they've collected this year. I look forward to continuing to work on the foundation of our team and I'm beyond excited to start the new season with them.""
