Senior Elizabeth Launi put her foot on the gas during her match and never let up in her first match win of her collegiate career. After a tough loss the day before, she regrouped and had a stellar performance on Sunday against Salem College, winning her match against Eunice Funez 6-1, 6-0.
The #1 doubles team consisting of Senior Centara Nulf and First Year Erin Laffey gave it their all and despite being up 6-3 in the match, weren't able to close it out in the end.
First Year Idaleen Scoggins also stepped it up from the day before, taking her player to a 3rd set tiebreak after losing the day before in straight sets.
"This team did a fantastic job making adjustments from the match against Salem the day before and I am very proud to be coaching this group of women. They all stepped it up and gave it their all and with a week off to recover, we should be ready to go for our next match vs. LaGrange College."
