The Wolves' track team competed today in the preliminary heats of the USA South Track and Field Championships hosted by Berea College. The ladies had a very good showing in today's events that will help line them up to run in the finals of five events. Today, Freshman Imani Higginbotham  stamped her ticket into the 100m and 200m dash finals with her heat times. Freshman Aliyah Green also made her claim to a finals heat spot in the 800m. The team will run in the 4X100 and 4X400m relay finals tomorrow as well. The schedule for tomorrow has changed a bit as the officials for the USA South try to ensure all events are held before projected bad weather enters the area. The schedule has been updated on the USA South site and the finals will begin at 8:00AM.
