Wolves Cross Country Runs First Race of Season

Mount Berry, GA - The Wesleyan College cross country team ran its first race after a four year hiatus on Friday evening at the Georgia NCAA Division III Cross Country Invitational hosted by Berry College. 

Notables:

  • Wesleyan finished the race in fifth place behind winner Emory University and host Berry College. USA South opponents Covenant College and Piedmont College finished in third and fourth places, respectively.

Wesleyan head coach Alex Kosicki remarked, "Our team competed unbelievably well in our first meet of the year. The heart and perseverance our women showed was awe inspiring.
