Demorest, GA - Chyla Brown led the Wesleyan College Cross Country team to a ninth place finish at the Piedmont Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning.

Notables:

• From the first 6k race of the season on September 1 to today, Chyla Brown and Tyler Walker have shaved nearly eight minutes off their times. Stephanie Artola has also seen just over five minutes come off her finishing time.
• Today marked the first race of the season for senior Amy Milligan and freshman Paloma Velasco.
