Wesleyan Softball Announces 2023 Schedule

MACON, Ga. – The Wesleyan softball program announced their 2023 schedule on Wednesday. Of the 36 games, Wesleyan will play 16 in front of their home crowd at the Mathews Athletic Complex.

The season will start with three double-header road games versus Clark Atlanta (Feb. 7), Middle Georgia (Feb. 8), and Ohio Christian (Feb. 10). The first home game for the Wolves will be a double-header against the Sewanee Tigers on February 19. The Wolves will then hit the road again for two more double-headers against the Columbia Koalas (Feb. 24) and the Converse Valkyries (Feb. 25).

The Wolves will start Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) conference play on March 9 at LaGrange College and will then travel to Belhaven University on March 18. The Wolves return home to play a double-header against Clark Atlanta (March 21), before hitting the road again to face conference foe Piedmont College on March 26.
The Wolves will then enjoy a six game homestand facing Agnes Scott (March 28), Berea College (April 1), and Maryville College (April 2) before going on another six-game stretch on the road against conference opponents Agnes Scott (April 7) and Covenant (April 15), followed by a non-conference match-up versus Fort Valley State (April 18).

The Wolves will complete their regular season with their last four conference games at home playing LaGrange on April 21 and Huntingdon College on April 22.

The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Softball Championship is scheduled to take place over the course of two weekends and will begin Wednesday, April 27th through Saturday, April 30th. The Championship Series will take place Friday, May 5th and Saturday, May 6th.
