Ryan Bliss was named Wesleyan College’s Head Softball Coach In January 2023. Before joining Wesleyan Ryan spent time coaching both softball and baseball at Bryant & Stratton College in Solon, OH winning the OCCAC championship with the Bobcat baseball program in their inaugural 2020 season. 

Ryan is a 2015 graduate of Oberlin College in Oberlin, OH where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience while playing on the Yeomen 2015 NCAC champion team. Ryan was named to the All NCAC team and All NCAC Tournament Team throughout his career at Oberlin.  After graduating, Ryan earned his CSCS and worked as a strength and conditioning professional working with athletes of all ages and backgrounds.

 In 2017 Ryan was signed to play and coach for the Northern District Reds in the SABL of Adelaide, Australia winning the Division 2 MVP award for his efforts. 

Off the field Ryan enjoys exercising, cooking, writing, spending time with his family in Wellington Ohio, and hanging out with his dog Achilles.
