MACON, GA. - Wesleyan score 16 seconds into the game and never looked back tonight routing the visiting Trinity Baptist Eagles 77-43 in Porter gymnasium.
Notables:
- Three Wolves were in doubles figures.
- Lex Russell led the way with a double-double on the night scoring 28 points and pulling down 13 rebounds in 35 minutes of action.
- TK Blount was one steal shy of a triple-double with 18 points, 10 assists, and nine steals.
- Taylor Hauser went 9-12 scoring 18 points and grabbing four rebounds.
- Q Brandon continued to clear the glass with 10 rebounds and fished out seven assists.
As a team, the Wolves defensively shut down the Eagles offense holding them to a cold 26.2% from the floor and turning them over 27 times. They controlled the glass out rebounding the Eagles 58-42.
