Lagrange Steals the Show and Protects Home Court

LAGRANGE, GA. - The hot shooting Panthers were too much for the Wolves tonight despite a solid defensive effort and aggressive offensive attack in the paint. While the Wolves forced 22 turnovers and tallying 11 steals and converting that effort into 16 points, LaGrange was only able to turn the Wolves over 14 times. The difference tonight, however, came from the Panthers bench who scored 16 points in comparison to the Wolves lone 2 point contribution.

Notable:

  • The Wolves attacked the rim fearlessly earning 26 shots from the charity stripe connecting on 61.5% (16-26)
  • Leading the Wolves tonight offensively was Junior guard, Taylor Thigpen with 25 points on 8-15 shooting connecting on 4 of 8 from beyond the arc
  • TK Blount (16 points) and Lex Russell (11 points) joined Thigpen in double figures combining for 52 of the Wolves 58 points
