Wolves Fight Hard Against Lions

The Wesleyan Wolves lost a hard fought game today at Titans Arena in Macon, GA. Coming off a tough loss against Fort Valley State University, the Wolves came into the match today hungry for their first win of the season. The offense played extremely well with yet another freshman leading in the scoring for the first time this season. Sophomore Aubry Maulden finished the day with 12 points followed by Freshmen Davina Brown with 10 points for the day to help the Wolves keep the game close. The offense showed grit today off the board with 10 offensive rebounds. Marilyn NeSmith lead the Wolves with 6 steals.

Head Coach Kyle Herring said, "I was very proud of the team for how they played for the entire forty minutes today. If we continue to play the entire forty minutes of every game, we should start seeing our season turn around."

The Wolves will travel to Melbourne, Fl., to take on Florida Tech in a Thanksgiving week match. That game is scheduled to begin at 5:30PM. The next home game for the Wolves will be December 4, at 6:00PM.
