Wolves Dropped by Lions

The Wesleyan Wolves lost tonight to Piedmont College with a final score of 50-88. The Wolves, coming off of a hard fought loss to Covenant this weekend, were looking to capitalize on the experience gained by playing Piedmont earlier in the season. The offense could not get going this evening scoring only 18 points in the first half and trailing by 26 at the end of the first half. The top scorer for Wesleyan this evening was Freshman Natera Perkins with 11 on the night.

On the defensive side of the court, the Wolves finished the night with 29 rebounds and 14 steals. Freshman Kelsey Houpt lead the defense tonight with 7 rebounds.

The Wolves are back in action again on Friday evening at 6:30PM with their first home game of 2020 against Brevard College.
