Macon, GA- The Wolves Volleyball program traveled to Brewton Parker College in Mount Vernon,GA where they got a little revenge over the Brewton Parker Lady Barons winning the match in 4 sets. Senior Brittany Davis led the Wolves with 8 points consisting of 6 kills and 2 service aces, While Zoe Redmond and Jaylyn Randle had 7 points a piece. Redmond finished with 6 kills and a block, while Randle had 7 kills. Zaysharae Malia- Hughes was a force defensively finishing with a team, and season high, 18 digs on the night. Setter Trinity Jackson had her best night of the season dishing out 14 assists for the Wolves.  

The Lady Barons took a match from the Wolves in 4 sets in Porter Gymnasium just 5 days ago and the Wolves came out playing like the Lady Barons owed them money winning the first two sets of the night 25-23 and 25-13. The Lady Barons took the 3rd set by a final of 25-19, but the Wolves prevailed taking the tightly contested 4th set by a final of 25-22. The win is the Wolves second of the season running their record to 2-5 on the season. They played some of their cleanest ball of the season committing just 18 errors across the 4 sets, and had their best set of the season with 12 kills and just 2 errors in the second set. Hopefully the team can get hot at the right time and carry over some momentum from the win as they begin CCS play today September 20th traveling to Piedmont University in Demorest, GA to take on the Lions.
