Macon, GA- The Wesleyan College administration has announced Hollie King will be taking over as the head Volleyball Coach for the 24-25 season. King, a native of Dallas TX, comes to Wesleyan after serving as assistant coach at Dallas Christian College helping lead the DCC Lady Crusaders to a playoff appearance in her first year there. Before coaching with Dallas Christian coach King spent time coaching with Rivals Volleyball club and coached at multiple High Schools around the Dallas area. In 2020 Hollie founded A+ Athletics, an athletic training and college prep service with the goal to ensure that student athletes had the education and resources available to help them continue their careers at the collegiate level. To this day A+ has helped place over 100 enrolled high school athletes into collegiate programs across the country.

“I have a holistic style of coaching,” said King “I try to help the ladies I get to work with develop not only as players on the court, but as people and professionals off the court. What excites me most about this opportunity at Wesleyan as the head coach for the women's volleyball team is the chance to lead and inspire a group of talented athletes in a dynamic and supportive environment.” Continued King “I am eager to bring my passion for the sport, strategic approach, and commitment to player development to this program. The prospect of fostering a strong team culture, achieving competitive success, and contributing to the overall growth of the volleyball program at Wesleyan fills me with enthusiasm and pride.”

When not on the court, Coach King enjoys spending time with her children Chandler (10) and Skylar (7) and volunteering in the community.
