The Wesleyan cross country program competed in the Southern Wesleyan University Warrior Invitational. The Wolves had 5 runners finish, 3 of which all passed the finish marker in under 30 minutes. Sophomore Chyla Brown (25.22.3) saw the top spot within the team, scoring 23 in the race and placing 34th in a field of over 75 runners.

Interim Head Coach Kira Bohlke commented after the race: "The ladies did really well today and almost all of them had huge individual improvements from Middle Georgia."

Bohlke continued: "I will be raising the bar in the next few weeks in preparation for the next race and I expect the ladies will take the challenge head on. I'm excited that we are moving forward and are improving. This will help us greatly in our next race."
