The Wesleyan cross country program competed in the Charleston Classic on Saturday. The Wolves placed 2nd in the division 2 bracket of the race, 6th overall in the meet.
The Wolves saw all 7 runners finish the race: Chyla Brown at 24:03.8 in 50th place, Michelle Scott at 26:55.7 in 56th place, Grace Farris at 27:08.5 in 59th place, Jill Crosby at 28:32.4 in 62nd place, Tyler Walker at 32:44.0 in 64th place, Katherine Neal at 44:26.7 in 70th place, & Lynette Hamilton at 44:36.4 in 71st place.
Interim Head Coach Kira Bohlke commented: "I am incredibly proud of the ladies. We went to a very competitive race this weekend and three of the girls ran, yet again, their quickest time of the season. I also was glad to finally have Katherine Neal back on the course after being out due to injury for the beginning of the season. I look forward to this coming weekend at Berry and competing against many teams that are in our conference."
